Aksakov Prizes were solemnly presented in Ufa

In Ufa, a solemn presentation of the Aksakov Prizes took place within the framework of the 30th International Aksakov Festival. The awards were presented by the chairman of the Ufa City Council Valery Trofimov.

This year 15 works competed for the award. They were performed by students of universities and colleges. The works were evaluated by a commission, which included the City Council deputies and invited experts.

The winners were identified in four nominations, the press service of the City Council reports. A complete list of winners is posted on the agency's website.

"Every year, we are striving to make the award interesting for students. We try to make it as public and transparent as possible, progressively increase the size of the prize fund, erase the boundaries so that students from all over the world can participate in the competition. This year a special nomination was introduced, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the first Ufa governor Grigory Sergeevich Aksakov," said Valery Trofimov.

Prize of the Ufa City Council named after S.T. Aksakov has been awarded since 1992. It is handed over to students for scientific and creative works dedicated to the writer's legacy. At present, its size for students is 15 thousand rubles.
