Laysan Utyasheva, a native of Bashkiria, expressed support for Kushtau

A native of Bashkortostan, the famous gymnast, and TV presenter Lyaysan Utyasheva expressed support for Shikhan (Mount) Kushtau on social media. She admitted that she was monitoring the situation.

“I have been watching and reading all the reports from Bashkiria for several days,” said the TV presenter. “We are responsible for the decisions we make today, but all these decisions will inevitably affect the future of our children. I cannot imagine the situation when I bring my children to Bashkiria and will be forced to explain to them that once upon a time there was a unique, beautiful Shikshan, a miracle of nature, an icon of Bashkortostan, well known in Russia and abroad, painted by artists and photographed by many families”.
