Bashkir ballet about Shulgan-Tash cave will open festival in Perm

On August 22-25, in the city of Gubakha, Perm Territory, the theater landscape festival "Secrets of Mount Krestovaya" will take place. This year it will be opened by the ballet "What the Stones Are Silent About" by the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, the press service reported.
The ballet "What Are The Stones Are Silent About" was created by the composer Nikolai Popov and the ballet master Rinat Abushakhmanov. The ballet reveals the unexplored pages of the history of the famous South Ural cave Shulgan-Tash. The performance tells a poetic story about what happened in the Paleolithic era in a mysterious cave that stores rare specimens of rock art. The ballet premiered in March 2019.
Theaters from Moscow, Buinsk, Berezniki, Gubakha will also perform at the festival.
