Ildar Abdrazakov became host of Bolshoi Ballet TV show on Russia-Culture channel

Opera singer, twice Grammy winner, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Abdrazakov became the host of the Bolshoi Ballet TV show on the Russia-Culture channel. Ildar is hosting the project together with the prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater, Etoile of the ballet troupe of the Milan Teatro la Scala, People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova.

The shooting of the fourth season takes place at Mosfilm. Eight couples take part in the new season of the project.

The Bolshoi Ballet is the first ballet competition for young performers in the history of Russian television. The goal of the project is to discover new ballet stars, to allow young artists to express themselves, demonstrating not only impeccable technique but also dramatic talent, to present the rich heritage of classical ballet and the best examples of modern choreography.

This season, a couple from the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, Alisa Alekseeva, and Airat Masegutov, are taking part in the project.
