Slavic Writing and Culture Days are held in Bashkiria

The Slavic Writing and Culture Days are held in Bashkortostan. In connection with the epidemiological situation, the events associated with them are carried out online.

Bashkortostan Ensembles prepared a video with Russian songs. The video will be broadcast on Salyam and Russia-24 TV channels, as well as on social media.

From May 15 to June 3, an online contest of readers "Diverse Russia" organized by the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be held. Details of participation can be found on the website.

On May 23, several virtual events will take place on the official website - this is the 4th Republican folklore festival of an old Russian song, a video showing "From a clay tablet to a printing press" and a video presentation of the "Mellow Chime of Bells" folklore fest.

From May 20 to 24, the 7th Municipal Festival of Slavic Culture "We Are Slavs!" will be held online. On June 6, everyone will be able to write an online dictation "Pushkin Day."

From May 15 to May 25, artisans of the Krasnokamsky district of the republic will share their experiences and give master classes on decorative and applied art on the website and social media of the local department of culture.

The Krasnokamsky Central District Library is also engaged in the online celebration of the Slavic Writing and Culture Days. On the site of the library, a feature film "First Printer Ivan Fedorov" (1941) will be posted. Besides, from May 15 to May 25, the online quiz "The First Printers Cyril and Methodius" will be launched.

From May 16 to 21, the little readers of the library will be able to watch cartoons "Folklore, Tales, Parables, Nurseries." On May 21, a video lecture "The Alphabet that Passed Through the Ages" will be held, and on May 23, the literary hour "The Word is a Precious Gift" will be held as part of the flash mob. On May 24, a virtual book exhibition "From Cyrillic to E-Book" will open.
