Graffiti appeared in Ufa to support Republican Clinical Hospital doctors being in quarantine
In Ufa opposite the Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital, the artist Arthur Lukyanov painted graffiti in support of 1,200 medical professionals and patients who are in strict quarantine here due to the coronavirus.
The graffiti is painted on the wall of the Ufa College of Statistics, Informatics, and Computer Engineering.
It is based on the work of the famous English illustrator and cartoonist from Norwich M.J. Hiblen, popular on the Internet. Arthur Lukyanov modified it somewhat. The original work depicts an indecent gesture. In the Ufa version, the doctor shows the index finger to the coronavirus.
“From afar, it may seem a little vulgar, but scandalousness is an integral part of street art,” Arthur Lukyanov emphasizes.
It can be added that the author of the idea M.J. Hiblen has already approved the graffiti of his Ufa colleague.
Recall that earlier, the street art artist Arthur Lukyanov painted large portraits of Yuri Gagarin and Natalya Kovshova on buildings in Ufa.
