Bashkortostan celebrates National Costume Day today

In Bashkortostan, the National Costume Day of the peoples of the republic is celebrated. By order of the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, this day is annually celebrated on the third Friday of April and the second Friday of September. In connection with the epidemiological situation, the holiday was decided to be held online.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency published the program of the National Costume Day. The Bashkir State Philharmonic Society also prepared several events for this holiday.

The entire philharmonic collective is making a musical video with a call to participate in the costume flash mob led by the art director of the stage, the Honored Artist of Bashkortostan Sulpan Askarova.

On April 17, the Philharmonic invites everyone to wear their national costumes or partial paraphernalia and be inspired by a song that was specially written and performed by the national artist of Bashkortostan Arthur Tuktagulov, especially for this holiday.

“We suggest dancing with us, filming your dance to our song, posting it on social media before April 25, marking with the hashtag #tantsuemsbashgosfilarmoniei. The most interesting videos will be posted on our official groups for International Dance Day on April 29. The author of the video, which will receive the largest number of likes and comments, will get a prize from us”, the press service of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society informs.

The National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the direction of Linar Davletbaev is preparing a surprise performance in honor of the holiday.
