Ildar Abdrazakov: I have invited my friends to Ufa for Attila festival performance

Ildar Abdrazakov flew to Ufa, to his homeland. The capital of Bashkortostan is the second city where the Third International Festival of the famous singer takes place. The festival opened in Yekaterinburg on February 15, where Ildar Abdrazakov performed for the first time. After Ufa, the festival will be held in Kazan and Moscow.

Programs in different cities are different. In Ufa, it will be a chamber concert of young performers on February 18 and two nights of “Attila” opera on February 19 and 20. Recall, “Attila” is a premiere of last season, the directorial debut of Ildar Abdrazakov. He will play the lead role in the opera on February 1, 19.

“I have invited my friends to this performance. I’m pleased that the amazing and beloved singer Veronika Dzhioeva, who especially, at my request, learned the part of Odabella - arrived in Ufa and will enter the stage with this debut, ” said the art director of the festival Ildar Abdrazakov in an interview with the Bashinform News Agency. “The party of Foresto will be performed by my close friend, tenor from Italy Luciano Ganchi. We met at the Attila in the opening of the Kazakhstan Opera, conducted by Valery Gergiev and directed by the Italian Pierre Luigi Pizzi”.

Ezio will be performed by the young Russian baritone, laureate of international competitions Sergey Kaydalov, who is studying at the Elena Obraztsova Academy. Artem Makarov, Honored Artist of Bashkortostan, laureate of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask” will conduct the event.
