Ildar Abdrazakov Festival in Ufa will be held with support of Government RB

In Ufa, the Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival will be held with the support of the Government of the Republic. The corresponding order was signed by the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, the document is published on the legal information portal.
This year's Ildar Abdrazakov Festival will be held for the third time. One of the concerts of the festival will take place in the Concert Hall of the Ufa College of Arts. On February 18, participants of the Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival will take part in the Vocal Music Night. The program includes works by Mozart, Donizetti, Saint-Saens, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and other famous composers. The concert will feature Anastasia Korotenko (soprano), Natalya Yakimova (mezzo-soprano) and Vladimir Kopytov (baritone), accompanist Rebecca Magomedova. The beginning is at 7.00 pm.
As part of the festival, on February 19, the Ufa stage will feature the Giuseppe Verdi's opera Attila, the directing debut by Ildar Abdrazakov. The performance, implemented for a grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, became one of the most notable theater premieres in 2019 and was included in the long list of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask”.
World opera stars will perform leading roles in the opera. Veronika Dzhioeva, who is one of the most sought-after singers in Russia and abroad, will perform Odabella.
Tenor Luciano Ganchi, known to European audiences as a performer with powerful acting charisma, a master of precise vocal accents, will appear before the audience in the role of Foresto.
Ezio will be played by Russian baritone Sergey Kaydalov, who this year triumphantly won the first prize at the International Music Competition in Oslo and received the award from the Queen of Norway.
Ildar Abdrazakov, the art director of the festival, twice the winner of the Grammy Award, laureate of the Russian National Theater Award Golden Mask, will sing the lead part in the opera.
Artem Makarov, the Honored Artist of Bashkortostan, laureate of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask” will conduct the event.
The Ildar Abdrazakov Festival is the largest project of the Foundation for the Support of Young Talents and the International Cultural Relations Development, which was founded in 2016. The third festival will be dedicated to the heritage of Giuseppe Verdi.
Recall that the festival starts on February 15 with a concert at the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Society in Yekaterinburg. Residents and guests of Kazan will listen to the most famous arias by Giuseppe Verdi on February 21. The Great Hall of the P. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory will host a concert "Verdi Gala" on February 26.
