Highest-grossing films became known in Bashkiria including "Little Sister"

According to the federal automated information system of film screenings in cinemas, the greatest box office for the year was earned by the “The Lion King” cartoon in Bashkiria - 51.3 million rubles, almost 260 thousand people watched it. The Russian movie “T-34” (49.4 million) and fantasy based on the comics “Avengers: Endgame"- 48 million.

11th place in the list is occupied by a movie of Bashkir production - “Little Sister”. The film based on Mustay Karim’s novel “The Joy of Our Home” was directed by Alexander Galibin. The movie was released on September 19, 2019, on the 100th anniversary of the author. In Bashkiria, the film collected 23.5 million rubles (another four million at the Russian box office) and 143 thousand viewers. This is more than the Hollywood Captain Marvel (23.3 million) and Aladdin (23.2 million).

In Russia, the leaders were the “Lion King” - 2.62 billion, “Avengers” (2.57 billion) and “T-34” (2.25 billion).
