600 million rubles allocated for cultural institutions development in rural areas in Bashkiria in 2019

More than 600 million rubles were allocated from all sources to develop the infrastructure of cultural institutions in the countryside in 2019. It was announced today at a briefing session in the Government of the republic by the Minister of Culture of the Republic Amina Shafikova.

In 2019, four rural community centers were built as part of a national project and other areas.

“The functionality of the new clubs assumes the presence of an audience hall, library, exhibition area, there will also be a children's art school, a gym, a children's area, rooms for clubs and studios in Duvan”, the Minister of Culture RB explained.

Four objects underwent reconstruction and overhaul: district cultural houses of Miyakinsky, Kaltasinsky, Burzyansky districts, Yuldybaevsky rural club of Zilairsky district.

Within the framework of the project “Culture of the Small Homeland”, the facilities of 15 rural and district clubs have been strengthened. They carried out current repairs, purchased lighting and sound equipment, purchased vehicles and stage costumes.

The republic has opened 12 multifunctional family clubs, ten cinema halls.

“Moreover, this year, 54 districts received funds for stage complexes on the eve of the World Folklore Festival in the total amount of 47.9 million rubles,” said Amina Shafikova.
