"German Requiem" by Brahms will be performed at Winter Festival in Ufa

On December 23, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan as part of the Winter Festival invites to listen to the "German Requiem" op. 45 by Johannes Brahms for soloists, mixed choir and symphony orchestra.
It is known that the world recognition of the young Brahms started with the premiere of the German Requiem on April 10, 1868, in Germany, and in a short time, the German Requiem was heard in Switzerland, England, and Russia.
Soloists - People’s Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of international and open republican competitions Elvira Fatykhova (soprano), Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of the Second National Opera Prize “Onegin”, holder of the diploma “Artist of Radio of Russia”, laureate of international and open republican competitions, Arthur Kaipkulov (bass-baritone).
The State Academic Choir of the Republic of Bashkortostan (art director and chief conductor - laureate of the S. Babich State Republican Youth Prize Alsu Khasbiullina) takes part in the concert. The conductor is Dmitry Kryukov, chief conductor of the NSO RB.
The concert will take place in the Concert Hall of the Ufa Institute of Arts (Pushkin St., 103A). The beginning is at 7 pm.
Recall that the Winter Festival of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan is held in Ufa and the cities of the republic from December 10 to December 27, 2019.
