Exhibition of antique clocks has opened in Ufa

An exhibition of ancient clocks “Storehouse of Time” opened in the main hall of the House-Museum of V.I. Lenin. A variety of clockworks from the collection of Valery Shataev, which he has been collecting for 20 years. The oldest watches date back to the 19th century.

Pocket, cabinet, wall, aviation, marine, instrument, carriage - you can see a whole kaleidoscope of mysterious dials, hands, and pendulums. The exposition is supplemented by Soviet Christmas toys.

“Almost all the clockwork mechanisms in his collection have not lost their main function to this day - to count the steps of time. By popular demand, the cuckoo clock is also presented at the exhibition - it’s from the 70s of the twentieth century - among the remaining 80 clocks, these are perhaps the youngest”, said the organizers of the exhibition.

The “Storehouse of Time” is open to everybody from Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
