Opera stars Olga Seliverstova and Polina Shamaeva performed at Winter Festival in Ufa

The National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan held the second concert of the Winter Festival, which runs in Ufa and the cities of Bashkortostan from December 10 to 27.
The program "Young Stars of the World Opera" took place at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater. That evening, two Moscow singers performed with the orchestra.
Olga Seliverstova (soprano) worked in the opera houses of Paris. Since 2015, she has been a soloist with the opera company of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, where she made her debut with the Musetta in the Bohemia opera by G. Puccini.
Polina Shamaeva (mezzo-soprano) - soloist of the Moscow theater "New Opera" and the Hungarian State Opera House, winner of the fifth season of the Big Opera television project.
The program featured popular opera arias by foreign and Russian composers. The concert was conducted by the chief conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra, conductor of the State Academic Symphonic Capella of Russia and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Dmitry Kryukov.
The maestro thanked the soloists who left Ufa right after the concert. The next day Olga Seliverstova will be featured in the lead role in the performance at the Bolshoi Theater, Polina Shamaeva will have a concert with Vladimir Spivakov.
On December 17, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan will present the third concert of the Winter Festival - the program “Treasury of Russian Classics” in Sterlitamak.
