International Linguistics Conference opened in Ufa

In Ufa, the International Research and Practice Conference "Sociocultural, Ethnic, and Linguistic Processes in the Eurasian Space" opened at the Toratau Congress Hall.

The purpose of the conference is the scientific understanding of ethnic and linguistic processes in the Eurasian space.

The two-day conference will be attended by representatives of public organizations, state authorities, experts in the field of interethnic relations, and scientists from more than twenty regions of Russia and five neighboring countries. At the conference venue, experts and young scientists will share with their theoretical and practical experience in studying sociocultural, ethnic and linguistic processes in the Eurasian space in the context of globalization.

According to the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials with the assignment of ISBN. The collection will be posted in the eLIBRARY Scientific Electronic Library on the RSCI platform.

The main areas of the conference work:

- theoretical and methodological issues in the study of socio-cultural and ethnic processes;

- problems of preserving the cultural identity of the peoples of Eurasia in the context of globalization and integration;

- interethnic and interfaith relations and national politics in the Eurasian space and separate countries;

- pressing issues of preserving and developing languages of the peoples living in the Eurasian space;

- socio-political and socio-cultural processes in the Eurasian space in the context of globalization;

- evaluation and analysis features of ethnic linguistic processes in the modern world: approaches and methodological developments;

- historical trends of cultural and social processes in the Eurasian space.
