Askar Abdrazakov won Onegin Opera Prize

The awarding ceremony of the National Opera Prize Onegin took place in St. Petersburg. The gala concert was held on the stage of the Mikhailovsky Theater. The stars of the world opera stage performed at the event, accompanied by the Mikhailovsky Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alexander Vedernikov.
One of the winners in the Master of Scene nomination was the soloist and art director of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Askar Abdrazakov for the roles of Mephistopheles (Faust S. Gounod) and Leporello (Don Juan V. A. Mozart ).
Soloists of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater Olesya Mezentseva, Jan Leiche, Arthur Kaipkulov, and Elvira Fatykhova and Larisa Akhmetova were nominated in the Debut nomination for the Onegin Prize. In the nomination “Composition” were presented the operas “Faust” by S. Gounod, “Don Juan” by V.A. Mozart, "Attila" J. Verdi, in the nomination "Musical Director" - chief conductor of Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater Artem Makarov.
Total, the organizing committee of the award received 84 applications from 22 theaters of the country. The shortlist included 11 theaters, the press service of the Ministry of Culture RB reported.
