25 children - participants of Vladimir Spivakov Foundation project were awarded in Ufa

The socio-cultural project of the Vladimir Spivakov Charity Foundation in the Republic of Bashkortostan "Children to Children: Music of our Hearts" was closed with a gala concert in the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall in Ufa. During the year, the children participating in the project visited 25 settlements, where they gave more than 50 concerts.

“This is one of the brightest projects that the Spivakov Foundation is conducting in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Many thanks to the children - the main heroes of our holiday, who performed in hospitals, orphanages, orphanages, shared their skills and warmth, helped to overcome illnesses. This is our great common victory, ”said Lilia Gumerova, Chairman of the Committee of the Council of the Russian Federation on Science, Education, and Culture, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation in Bashkortostan.

She handed to the Director of the Vladimir Spivakov Charity Foundation in Bashkortostan Arthur Naziullin, a gratitude letter from the Chairman of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly RF Valentina Matvienko. All the children participating in the project were awarded diplomas, and the Deputy Minister of Culture RB Rinat Khalikov handed over diplomas and letters of thanks to the teachers.

The gala concert was attended by laureates of international, national, and republican competitions, students of Ufa children's music schools, the Second Special Music College, and the Ufa College of Arts.

The children performed together with the venerable singer - teacher of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, associate professor of the Higher School of Music named after Schnittke, People's Artist of the Republic of Kalmykia Igor Lazarev, who had already visited Bashkortostan several times with master classes.

The concert also featured performances by teachers of the project - famous musicians Anna Sokolova (violin) and Arthur Naziullin (clarinet).

The project was implemented through the grant from the President of the Russian Federation. The events of the project “Children to Children: Music of Our Hearts” engaged 25 musically gifted children who performed for their peers, and teachers who gave masterclasses. The masterclasses were delivered by eminent Moscow musicians and teachers of the Moscow Conservatory, Moscow Gnesins Academy of Music, Central Music School, Ufa Institute of Arts, Ufa College of Arts, Secondary Special College of Music.

Starting in January 2019, project participants visited 25 cities and towns: traveled all over Bashkortostan and also visited Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Region, and Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan. More than 70 masterclasses, more than 50 concerts were given with the participation of over 400 children. Half of the concerts took place in orphanages, social shelters for children in difficult situations, half in music institutions in cities and regions.
