Miss International Ufa contest winner is announced in Ufa

In Ufa, the Miss International Ufa Republican contest of ethnic beauty and talent has come to an end. The 5th-year student of the Ufa Institute of Arts Lenaria Khasanova, the representative of Bashkortostan became the winner. The girl is 25 years old, she studies vocals in the class of People's Artist of Russia Flyura Kildiyarova. Lenaria Khasanova performed the Bashkir dance "Ete Kyz".

The first runner-up was the representative of Kyrgyzstan, Ainaz Usenkanova. The title of the 2nd runner up was awarded to a guest from Angola - Franku Wanda Gisela Albina. Marina Vasilieva, a representative of the Chuvash people, became Miss Internet, based on the results of online voting on social media.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture RB, girls from 18 to 28 years old, living in the Republic of Bashkortostan and wanting to present the beauty of their nation, took part in the contest. In total, this year, 60 applications were received from girls of different nationalities, and 12 contestants were recognized as finalists of the project. They showed the culture of 12 peoples of the world - Angola, India, Cuba, China, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the peoples of Russia - Russians, Bashkirs, Tatars, Chuvashs.

At the gala concert, the participants performed a friendship dance. Each of the contestants demonstrated her knowledge of the Bashkir culture. A traditional fashion show in stylized ethnic clothing by designer Veronika Martynova also took place. Viewers saw creative performances with elements of folk dance, shows with attributes of sports equipment.
