Ethnic tour was organized for guests of Musafir Ethnic Music Forum

The Musafir International Ethnic Forum is held in Bashkortostan from November 10 to 12. Ufa hosts World Music experts from around the world. The guests have already arrived in the capital.

They were able to plunge into the Bashkir culture, having tried national dishes, learning how to shoot from a traditional bow, studying the elements of national choreography and trying on traditional Bashkir clothes.

“The costume is very cozy and warm, I don’t even want to take it off,” said German speaker Tino Grasselt.

And the speaker from the Netherlands, Miriam Lee Brenner, was so carried away by archery that she promised to return to Amsterdam and find a shooting club. The Mergen Uksa movement members held a traditional archery workshop.

The brightest part of the ethnic-tour was a dance flash mob, which was announced by Milyausha Khaibullina, the soloist of the Fayzi Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble. In a short time, guests enthusiastically lined up, learned the basics of Bashkir choreography, and were able to perform a small part of the Bashkir dance in pairs.

Guests enthusiastically participated in each stage of the ethnic-tour.

On November 11, a key event will take place within the framework of the forum - a showcase festival in the Ufa “Ogni Ufy” recreation complex.
