Bashkir beauty became "Miss Ethnos" at " St. Petersburg National Beauty Contest"

The Bashkir beauty received the title "Miss Ethnos" at the contest "National Beauty of St. Petersburg - 2019". Regina Ganchurina, a native of the Zilairsky district of Bashkortostan, won the approval of the jury and the recognition of the audience thanks to her vivid speech in the “Presentation” competitive stage and excellent creative performance. It was associated with the "Seven Girls" legend. The soloist was assisted by the Bashkir dance ensemble from St. Petersburg "Amanat". The members of the ensemble danced in costumes that were donated by the Executive Committee of the World Kurultai of Bashkirs at the Days of Bashkir Culture and Education in St. Petersburg.

Total, the girls presented 12 stories, seven countries, and four republics at the “National Beauty of St. Petersburg” contest. For a month, the contestants passed such stages of the competition as sports, cooking (Regina presented Urama dish, Bashkir honey, and herbal tea), charity – visiting an orphanage with a concert). They were taught runway walk, gave interviews. Next year, the organizers plan to raise the competition to the all-Russian format and hold regional stages.

During the contest, a photo exhibition of the finalist of 2018, winner of the Miss Elegance nomination Nazifa Isyanbaeva, was organized in the lobby. Her photo project is called MILLI (milli_photo) and contains works in the folk style.
