Bashkir Opera artists are in five nominations for Onegin National Opera Prize

Artists of Bashkir Opera are nominated in five categories of the Onegin National Opera Prize.
Olesya Mezentseva is in the “Debut (Women)” nomination for the part of Odabella in the “Attila” opera by J. Verdi, Jan Leiche in the “Debut (Men)” nomination for the part of Valentin in the “Faust” opera by S. Gounod, Ezio in the “Attila” opera by J. Verdi and Don Juan in the “Don Juan” opera by V. A. Mozart.
Askar Abdrazakov is in the “Master of the Stage” nomination for the roles of Mephistopheles in the “Faust” opera by S. Gounod and Leporello in V.A. Mozart's Don Juan.
The composition of the Attila opera by J. Verdi also claims to be awarded: Olesya Mezentseva, Jan Leiche, Arthur Kaipkulov, Vladimir Orfeev, Sergey Sidorov and music director Artyom Makarov - conductor for staging the operas “Faust”, “Attila”, and “Don Juan”.
The 4th Onegin National Opera Prize will be held in St. Petersburg on December 1 and 2. This year, the events of the Onegin National Opera Prize will take place on two historical stages at once. On December 1, the Mikhailovsky Theater will host the award ceremony with the participation of world opera stars. On December 2, a concert dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the work of Sergei Leiferkus will take place in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society. Famous opera performers, leading soloists of opera houses of the world, and laureates of the Onegin Prize will appear on the stage.
Recall that in past years, artists of the Bashkir Opera Theater Dilyara Idrisova and Arthur Kaipkulov became laureates of the Onegin Prize.
