Bashkir music album "Echo of Ancestors" will be performed in capital of Finland by author

On October 26, a presentation of the album of Bashkir music for the classical guitar “The Echo of Ancestors”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of Bashkortostan Republic will be held in Helsinki (Finland).

Radmir Muftakhin's concert will take place at the Russian Center for Science and Culture, where the composer will perform his arrangements of Bashkir music for classical guitar. Listeners from all over Finland are planning to come to the concert, seats for citizens from Switzerland, Monaco, and Sweden are reserved.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of Russia in Finland, the Center for Russian Science and Culture in Helsinki, the Public Association “Bashkortostan Community”, and the Bashkir Cultural Center in Moscow.

The album “Echo of Ancestors” was created from 2012 to 2019 and was released on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Bashkir folk melodies were used as the source material.

Radmir Muftakhin is a musician (classical guitar), composer, producer of the Zaman group, chairman of the Bashkir Cultural Center in Moscow, and a public figure. Radmir Muftakhin's performances with the Bashkir music program took place in Switzerland, Germany, Moscow, St. Petersburg and the capital of Bashkortostan - the city of Ufa.
