12 finalists of Miss International Ufa Ethnic Beauty and Talent Contest selected

On October 20, Ufa hosted the qualifying round of the Miss International Ufa Republican Сontest of Ethnic Beauty and Talent. More than 60 girls took part in the casting, of which 12 were selected for the final.

They presented themselves in national costumes and introduced their culture with the help of folk dances and songs, playing national instruments at the qualifying stage. Representatives of Azerbaijani, Chuvash, Armenian, Bashkir, Tatar, Russian and Georgian nationalities reached the finals. Girls from Angola, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, India, and China also charmed the jury.

Within a month, all of them will see the sights of the capital of our republic, visit cultural and educational institutions of Ufa, meet with the creative intelligentsia, communicate with prominent compatriots, take master classes and prepare performances.

The gala finale of the unique project will be held in Ufa on November 18. This year's competition is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the House of Friendship of the Peoples RB.

The Miss International Ufa contest is carried out in order to familiarize the residents of the republic with the culture of the peoples of Russia and Bashkortostan; creating conditions for interethnic communication of youth; preventing interethnic extremism and promoting internationalism among young people; creating conditions for interethnic cultural exchange; developing aesthetic taste, preserving and reviving folk traditions, material and spiritual culture of the peoples of Russia and Bashkortostan.
