New recreation center opened in birthplace of Mustai Karim in Bashkir village of Klyashevo

In the village of Klyashevo in the Chishminsky district of Bashkiria, on the day of the 100th anniversary of the outstanding writer, poet, and playwright Mustai Karim, a new recreation center was opened.

The opening took place as part of festive events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Mustai Karim, which took place on October 20 in Klyashevo.

The event gathered members of the creative groups of the region, guests of the festival, among which were representatives of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and the poet’s villagers, the poet’s grandson, founder of the Mustai Karim foundation Timerbulat Karimov.

The recreation center, which previously stood on this site, was built in the 60s of the last century. At first, it was planned to be just repaired. However, when they started work, it became clear: the building must be demolished, and a new structure should be erected on its place.

Bashneft company joined the project - over 65 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. The construction lasted 5.5 months. The hall includes - 150 seats, its area - 900 square meters. Vyacheslav Kozhevnikov, deputy chief of staff of JSOC Bashneft, noted that the company had two tasks: to build a multifunctional cultural center for the village and the entire Chishminsky district and perpetuate the memory of the great playwright.
