Ufa "Faust" will be shown at Bolshoi Theater in Moscow

The main theater of the country - the Bolshoi Theater of Russia will host the Ufa troupe with the performance “Faust” by Charles Gounod on October 29.

The opera will be shown as part of the 4th Festival of Musical Theaters of Russia “Seeing Music”. The grandiose event, bringing together many theater groups, members of the Association of Musical Theaters, and masters of professional art, started in Moscow on September 16 and will last until November 11. #BashOpera is a regular participant in this large-scale project: in the past years, the opera “Hercules” and “The Moon World” were presented on Moscow stages as part of the festival.

On October 29, the leading parts of the opera will be performed by a triumvirate of brilliant singers of the Bashkir opera troupe: Honored Artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, laureate of the Russian National Theater Prize “Golden Mask” and the State Youth Prize named after S. Babich Ilham Valiev (Faust), People's Artist of Bashkortostan Askar Abdrazakov (Mephistopheles) and People's Artist of Bashkortostan Elvira Fatykhova (Margarita). The musical director and conductor of the performance, Honored Artist of Bashkortostan, laureate of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask” Artem Makarov will stand behind the podium of the orchestra of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater. Ufa spectators will have an opportunity to see this “unexpected, modern and very tough performance” on the stage of Bashkir Opera on October 20.
