Ways to develop and support non-governmental creative associations were discussed in Ufa

UFA, 9 October 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
In Ufa, on the initiative of the adviser to the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on issues of culture and art, Askar Abdrazakov, a round table was held on the theme "The role of non-governmental creative associations in the formation of the cultural space." Representatives of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ufa city administration, the leaders of independent creative groups of Ufa, Sterlitamak, Tuymazy, members of the Public Council of the project "Culture of a Small Homeland" of the United Russia party attended the round table.
The central thesis was to create a unified cultural space with the equal rights of state organizations and non-state creative associations in obtaining cash subsidies.
“Non-governmental creative organizations need this greatly. There is no regulative base for state executive authorities to grant money to non-governmental organizations, ”commented on Elvira Aitkulova, deputy chairman of the State Assembly RB, and promised support from the legislative body.
The Chairman of the State Assembly Committee for Education, Culture, Youth Policy, and Sports Rail Asadullin assured that these problems would be discussed at a meeting of the State Assembly Committee. Perhaps amendments will be made to the republican law on culture.
To summarize, Rail Asadullin stated the need to create an association or union of representatives of different types of arts to discuss emerging issues, as well as to conduct training seminars to clarify the possibilities of current legislation, in particular, the 224 federal law on public-private and municipal-private partnerships in the Russian Federation.
