Fayzi Gaskarov Ensemble performed at "Russian Seasons" in Germany

The Fayzi Gaskarov Ensemble performed in Germany at the invitation of the Russian House of Folk Art as part of the International Cultural Project “Russian Seasons”.

Gaskarov artists presented dances from the gold fund of Gaskarov’s heritage: “Gulnazira”, “Mischievous”, “Seven Girls”, “Hunter”. The program also featured the Russian folk dance "Kalinka" staged by Alexei Shishkin, and others.

On October 5, a presentation of the activities of the V. D. Polenov State Russian House of Folk Art and the regions of Russia “Intangible cultural heritage and folklore - the treasure of Russia” took place in Berlin. As part of the Open Day of the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin, concerts were held representing the multinational Russian culture.

“Today, we held an open day, and we enjoyed performances of teams from Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Altai, and other regions of Russia. Berliners saw how diverse Russia is and at the same time, it is one big country. We are grateful to the Russian Ministry of Culture for bringing several creative teams here, including from Bashkortostan, as well as to the government of your republic, which supports a unique ensemble”, said Pavel Izvolsky, director of the Russian House of Science and Culture.
