66 thousand people have watched "Little Sister" film, Walt Disney extends distribution for 13 days

According to the Unified Automated Information System of the Film Fund, over 13 days more than 66.5 thousand people watched the "Little Sister" film. Walt Disney has decided to extend the wide release of the film.

The "Little Sister" film by the "Motor Film Studio" based on the story of Mustai Karim "The Joy of Our Home", was released on September 19 to the 100th anniversary of the author of the story - a classic of Bashkir Soviet literature, a national poet of Bashkiria, writer and playwright.

As the press service of Walt Disney marks, the "Little Sister" is the first modern film in the Bashkir language, which was shown in wide distribution.

The film is very popular with viewers. It showed a significant increase in the second week of release - more than 53% in the box office and more than 70% in the gross number of viewers, according to Walt Disney.

Screenings of the "Little Sister" were held as part of film festivals in St. Petersburg, Plyos, Yalta, Svetlogorsk, Vyborg, Volokolamsk, Smolensk, Veliky Novgorod and near Tuapse. The film won the Grand Prix of the 4th Yalta International Film Festival “Eurasian Bridge”, an audience award and a diploma of the 3rd degree at the 23rd All-Russian Festival of Visual Arts in the All-Russian Children's Center “Orlyonok”, an audience award at the 16th International Festival of Military Patriotic Film “Volokolamsk Border” .

The first showing of the "Little Sister" took place on September 17 at the Moscow cinema "Illusion". On September 22, the premiere also took place at the Bashkortostan State Concert Hall in Ufa.
