Chinese newspaper published article on Bashkortostan’s 100th-anniversary celebration

An article about the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan was published in the Chinese newspaper Anhui Zhibao. It tells about the formation of the first Bashkir autonomy within the Russian Federation, the economic development of Bashkortostan and anniversary events in the republic.

This is the third publication about the republic, published in China under the Agreement between the newspapers Republic of Bashkortostan and Anhui Zhibao. Earlier, Chinese and Russian readers learned about the history, traditions, economics of the two regions, Chinese people had the opportunity to get acquainted with the winter tourism of our republic, and readers of the "Republic of Bashkortostan" - with the features of the celebration of the Chinese New Year in the province.

An article on one of the most popular varieties of Chinese tea grown in Anhui will be published in the next issue of the Republic of Bashkortostan newspaper, Leysan Donich, spokeswoman for the Press and Media Agency, informs.

An agreement on information exchange between newspapers was signed in May 2018 during a visit to the Ufa official delegation of the province. In June 2017, a similar agreement was signed between the television and radio company of Anhui Province, BST Channel and Anhui University.
