Mariinsky Theater soloist Vasily Gerello will perform in Ufa

Mariinsky Theater soloist, opera singer Vasily Gerello will perform in Ufa accompanied by the Bashkir pop-jazz orchestra conducted by Oleg Kasimov. The concert will take place at the Ufa Amphitheater on August 29.

On the same day, the Tantana festival starts there at 5 p.m.

The festival program includes performances by accordion virtuosos Ainur and Halit Fatikhov, Valery Semin, Fadis Ganiev and Liliya Biktimirova, the Uzoritsa folk ensemble, the Bayram folk dance ensemble, and Alena Gumennaya collective.

Ilshat Shabaev and Arthur Khabirov will hold a dance flash mob with the guests of the holiday.

At 8 p.m. Alisher Mongershtern will enter the stage, then an Afro-Bashkir show will start, and the performance of the ethnic-project Zainetdin will follow it. The festival will be closed by Vasily Gerello.
