National Symphony Orchestra opens season with Alexander Sladkovsky

The National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan is preparing for the opening of a new, 28th season. The opening will take place at the Bashkortostan State Concert Hall on September 4, beginning at 7 pm.

Alexander Sladkovsky, the People’s Artist of Russia, art director and chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan will conduct the event.

The Algerian Suite and Concert No. 1 for Cello and Orchestra by C. Saint-Saens, as well as the fourth symphony of P. Tchaikovsky will be performed.

The soloist will be the People's Artist of Russia Sergey Roldugin.
