Ufa artist will take part in Mikhail Shemyakin’s exhibition in St. Petersburg

The young Ufa artist Olesya Glazyeva will take part in the exhibition of Mikhail Shemyakin in St. Petersburg.

The large-scale exhibition entitled “The Ladder in Consciousness, Life, and Art” presents the audience a new topic from more than half-a-century research “The Imaginary Museum” by artist and sculptor Mikhail Shemyakin. The opening will take place at the Mikhail Shemyakin Center in St. Petersburg on August 20.

Four new works by our countrywoman will be exhibited at the art event. Olesya Glazyeva is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, took part in regional and national exhibitions, including in the Nesterov’s Art Museum. In December, in Ufa, her solo exhibition is planned in the Small Hall of the Union of Artists.

Mikhail Shemyakin is a Soviet, American and Russian artist, sculptor, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation.
