Musical contest dedicated to 100th anniversary of our republic will be held in Bashkortostan

The republican contest of the best musical works dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be held in 2019.

The contest will cover the following categories: instrumental compositions (chamber compositions; compositions with ethnic instruments; arrangement); chamber vocal compositions (songs, including children songs), academic vocal compositions (including children songs), songs dedicated to military-patriotic themes, academic vocal compositions on spiritual and patriotic themes); large musical form (compositions for a symphony orchestra, compositions for a national folk instruments orchestra, compositions for a musical theater (opera, ballet, musical, performance music, compositions of mixed genres).

Due to the contest, the collection of modern musical art of the Composers Union RB will be replenished with new musical works, which will be recommended for the repertoires of theater and concert companies of the republic.

The contest was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Union of Composers of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The detailed information about the contest will soon be available on the official website of the ministry.
