In Ufa, the M.V. Nesterov Bashkir State Art Museum will host an unusual project. On August 8, the opening of the international art exhibition “Ball in Art” will take place here.
The exhibition will feature more than 100 works of famous Russian and foreign artists dedicated to the bright world of football, its phenomenon, humanistic values. The exhibition includes works by artists from Russia, Japan, Italy, France, USA, Switzerland, India, the Netherlands, Brazil, and other countries. The works by Bashkir artists will join the tour.
Works of art that received audience sympathy will take part in subsequent exhibitions.
“The international art exhibition Ball in Art was first presented in Moscow, in the Media Center of Zaryadye Park, with the support of the capital’s government one day before the opening of the FIFA World Cup in Russia in 2018,” the organizers inform.
The 21st FIFA World Cup has ended, but the celebration that unites countries, nations, art, and sports continues. On March 12, 2019, a world tour of the Ball in Art art project was launched at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The city in the desert - Doha (Qatar) is to become the final point of the art tour on the eve of the next FIFA World Cup 2022.
The project was organized by the “Kraft Pavlova” Foundation for the Development of Russian Art and the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society, historically associated with the countries and peoples of the Middle East.
