Journalists explored tourist opportunities of Bashkiria

A traditional annual festival of journalists “Jurfest” was held in the Karmaskalinsky district of Bashkortostan, in the village of Tausengirovo.

This year it was held under the motto “Get to Know your Republic!”. Bashkir, Tatar, Russian, Chuvash, Mordovian mini-yards were presented at the festival site, where girls in national costumes treated guests to traditional dishes of their cuisines.

The guests were also able to watch the performances of horse-riding masters and practice shooting from the traditional bow “Mergen Uksy”.

The festival was visited by the speakers of the InfoForum of Journalists held earlier, who were impressed by what they saw. As Yuliana Petrova, editor of the Career and Management column of the Vedomosti newspaper said, there were a lot of exciting things in Bashkiria, lots of ideas for developing tourism, but it was too little known about Bashkiria and Ufa even in Moscow.

The press center of the festival hosted an active discussion by journalists and the top management of Bashneft-Retail on topics indirectly related to the development of domestic tourism. This is an arrangement of gas stations with amenities and additional services and of course the pricing policy of the company. Such meetings help to understand each other better and contribute to a more competent and informed coverage of news by journalists.
