New tourist object has appeared near Ufa - wild-hive apiary

UFA, 10 July 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
50 km from Ufa, in the village of Ivano-Kazanka, Iglinsky district, a new tourist site appeared - a wild-hive apiary. It was created by Fanis Khalilov, a resident of Ufa.
Fanis Khalilov began to create apiary five years ago. Now the apiary has about fifty wild-hives, which Fanis did himself. The owner plans to increase their number to three hundred. At the apiary they produce real wild-hive honey - bees make it, circling about 320 species of honey plants. This honey contains 120 trace elements. Bees living in the hive are not treated with antibiotics. Honey is taken once a year, in late August - early September. Honey is not pumped; it is simply mixed, leaving pieces of pollen. It is believed that such honey is very useful. 40-50 kg of honey is collected from one wild-hive. A kilogram of valuable product costs 3,000 rubles.
Now the apiary welcomes tourists. Fanis Khalilov conducts a tour for them and tells a lot of interesting facts about the bees. Guests can swim and go fishing on the lake, dine outdoors up on the island, taste national dishes and drinks - bouza, koumiss, and mead. Delegates of the “Berdemlek” festival have already visited the beekeeper, for which a real Bashkir festival and even master classes in Bashkir dances were arranged.
Last weekend, the apiary was visited by the participants of the rally “Healthy Generation. Bashkortostan-Altai. BAL".
