Big festive event was organized on land of Salavat on national hero’s anniversary

In the small homeland of the national hero Salavat Yulaev, in the Salavat region, his memory was honored on his anniversary. Schoolchildren and residents of the surrounding villages came to the event, which was conducted near the historical monument - a stone yurt, installed on the site of the Tekeevo burnt village. Children, together with adults, recited poems by heart, sang songs dedicated to the memory of Salavat Yulaev. The culmination of the event was a performance of the ethnic-rock group Argymak.

As the leader of the Argymak group, Rinat Ramazanov, told Bashinform, the memorial stone in the yurt on the site of the burnt home village of Salavat was established in 2018 by the public organization “We Descendants of Salavat” together with the youth Kurultay of Bashkirs.

According to him, today this place is included in the Register of domestic tourist routes of Russia. “We have developed a “green route” together with the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism. It is possible that in the future, the stone yurt may become one of the most significant historical monuments and will serve as an incentive for the development of tourism in the region. I hope that in the future the interest of the republican residents to the national hero and this historical place will grow and such events will be held here on an even larger scale”, the musician said.
