Nadezhda Babkina, Argymak, Bi-2 opened Heart of Eurasia festival in Ufa

The Fifth International Art Festival “Heart of Eurasia” opened in Ufa. The holiday in open-air format was launched on a big scale. From the very beginning, all the slopes of the Ufa amphitheater were full of people. According to the organizers, the number of visitors reached 45 thousand people on the first night of the festival. The figure has broken the record of the past years. The Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov and his wife attended the celebration.
The concert program was opened by the performance of the St. Petersburg group Ingervala. The team presented folk music of North-West Russia. At the same time, the National Costume Parade started from the Bashkir Drama Theater and then descended to Vatan Ethnic Park, to the stage of the Ufa Amphitheater.
The second third of the night featured the artists of the 12th All-Russian Marathon Festival “Songs of Russia” by Nadezhda Babkina. Note that this year the festival-marathon “Songs of Russia” takes place only in Bashkortostan and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our republic. The festive show participants included the Moscow State Academic Theater of Folklore “Russian Song”, the “Russian Song” ensemble, the “Living Planet” show-ballet, the “Posle Odinnadtsati” folk group, the “Rossiyane” ensemble, Yevgeny Gore, the "Miras" folklore ensemble of songs and dance, "Zainetdin" ethnic-show project, and others.
The performance of the "Bi-2" group began in the last third of the festive program. The artists presented songs from the "Event Horizon" album.
According to the established tradition, the opening was finished by the hymn of the “Heart of Eurasia” festival performed by Polina Kobets, Ekaterina Yamshchikova, and Siyavush Shermatzade and a long fireworks show.
