Bulat Yusupov’s films won at FESTPRO Film Festival

Films by the Bashkir director Bulat Yusupov “Babich” and “The First Republic” won at the FESTPRO International Film Festival.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture RB, the festival was held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Penza and Vladimir from May 13 to 19.

The film Babich won in several nominations: “Best Feature Film”, “Best Costume Designer” - Alsu Timerkaeva, “Best Actor” - Ilgiz Tagirov.

“The First Republic” film was awarded in the nominations “Best Script” - Tansulpan Babicheva, Gulsyasyak Salamatova, “Best Art Director” - Rustam Baymukhametov.

Total, 568 applications from 60 countries were submitted to the film festival. The competition was held under the slogan "Film Production with Good Morals!" in order to support filmmakers and popularize cinematography in the regions.
