Bashkortostan native, Diana Nurmukhametova became soloist of Vienna Opera

Bashkortostan-born Diana Nurmukhametova will be a soloist of the Vienna State Opera since the new theatrical season. After graduating from the St. Petersburg Conservatory, Diana decided to try her luck in European theaters. After some time, the young singer received an official invitation to an audition at the Vienna Opera.

The audition took place on the main stage of the theater. Diana sang the famous second aria of the Queen of the Night Mozart from the “The Magic Flute” opera and was liked by the commission. Next year on the stage of the theater she will play such roles as the Queen of the Night, Olympia and other parties of the coloratura repertoire.

Diana Nurmukhametova was born in the Askino District of Bashkortostan. In Ufa, she graduated from the Secondary Special Music College in violin with Liliya Bogomolova. She studied vocals at the Ufa School of Arts with the Honored Worker of Culture RB Nailya Yusupova. She graduated from Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory with a professor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tamara Novichenko. Diana is a winner of many national and international competitions, including the “Amber Nightingale”, “Bella Voce”, the Bibigul Tulegenova Competition, the Romansiada Competition, the Boris Shtokolov Competition and many others.
