Ildar Abdrazakov: "My festival will always start in Ufa"

Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival will always begin in Ufa. This was announced today by the singer himself at a press conference on the event. Recall that the second festival will solemnly open at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater tomorrow, March 13.

“Last year there were singers and instrumentalists. This year we have more singers, various programs. I invited singers from the Academy of La Scala, the Italians, laureates of the competition "Verdi Voices". Students of the Mariinsky Theater Academy, including the son of our famous singer Vladimir Belov, Kirill, a student of the Elena Obraztsova Academy, where I am the art director, will also arrive”, said Ildar Abdrazakov, art director of the festival.

One of the participants of the opening concert will be a soloist of the Moscow New Opera, guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Vasily Ladyuk, who has repeatedly performed in Ufa. Also, talented performers of youth programs of vocal academies of Europe, Italian soprano Martina Grezia and mezzo-soprano Anna-Doris Kapetelli will come to Ufa. Our capital will be represented by the singer of Bashkir Opera Dilyara Idrisova. The soloists will perform with the orchestra of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, led by conductor Fabio Mastrangelo. Yulian Makarov, a famous Russian actor and TV host, will hold a concert, like last year.

This year the festival received invitations from different cities and expanded the geographical scope. Until March 24, the festival's events will continue in Moscow, Almetyevsk and Kazan. On March 19 a concert will take place on the stage of the Moscow concert hall "Zaryadye".

“My friend will arrive in Moscow, a wonderful tenor from America Lawrence Brownlee. He is a Rossini tenor, performs a bel canto repertoire. We sing duets together. In the Moscow concert, our Ufa star Dilyara Idrisova and Anna-Doris Kapetelli will also sing”, said Ildar Abdrazakov.

The festival is organized by the Ildar Abdrazakov Foundation for the Support and Promotion of Young Talents in the Field of Art. According to the director of the fund, Marika Abdrazakova, all tickets for the concerts have been sold.
