The premiere of the play "The White Cloud of Genghis Khan" was held at the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after Mazhit Gafuri. The production was based on the story of the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, which is part of the novel “The Day Lasts for More Than A Hundred Years”.
The stage version of the story was created by Elena Baranchikova, who arrived at the premiere. The performance was staged by Musalim Kulbaev, director of the National Youth Theater of the Republic. Artist - Albert Nesterov, choreographer - Irina Filippova (Moscow), composer - Ural Idelbaev, light designer - Ilshat Sayakhov.
The performance was also visited by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Mongolia in Russia J. Bayarkhuu.
The performance-parable tells about Genghis Khan's Western campaign, who failed to reach the European lands. The eternal themes are raised in a brief, one-act setting: life and death, man and power, love, childbirth, and war. In the center of the performance is a majestic figure of Genghis Khan masterfully performed by one of the most charismatic actors of Bashkir Drama Theatre, People’s Artist of Russia and Bashkortostan Khurmatulla Utyashev.
