Average salary of cultural sphere employees amounted to 30,337 rubles in Bashkortostan

In Bashkortostan, the average salary of cultural workers in 2018 was 30,337 rubles. Over the year, it grew by 25.7%; in 2017, employees of cultural institutions received on average of 24169 rubles each.

“People have been and are the main resource that allows us to respond effectively to the challenges of our time. Therefore, it is obvious that one of the main indicators of the Strategy for the Development of Culture of Bashkortostan is to increase wages to cultural sphere employees. Due to the systematic work on the implementation of the May decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, we record a positive trend in wage growth”, the Culture Minister Amina Shafikova stated at a board meeting of the department.

According to the data announced at the event, in 2018 the volume of the consolidated budget, aimed at the development of culture, increased. It amounted to 8 billion 983 million rubles or 4.2% of the consolidated budget of the republic (growth to the level of 2017 amounted to 24% or 1 billion 735 million rubles).
