Argymak Group will represent Bashkortostan at International Festival in Saudi Arabia

From 9 to 19 March, the city of Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will host the International Ethnic Festival “Universe of Nomads” in the framework of the Camel Festival named after King Abdul Aziz. Bashkir ethnic music will be also presented at the event. The ethnic group “Argymak” will compete for the title of the best performer in the nominations of ethnic-music and ethnic-hit.

The winners will also be determined in such nominations as ethnic-dancer, ethnic fashion, ethnic bazar (exhibition-fair of arts and crafts), storytelling art (epics, legends), original genre (games, fun, stunt elements) at the world forum.

According to the terms of the creative competition, representatives of each country must submit a complex national program reflecting the history, culture and life of the people in the scenic, game, craft art forms. The delegation of each country prepares at least five concert programs lasting from 15 to 20 minutes. The winner is awarded a cash prize, a special prize and a diploma from the "The Universe of Nomads" International Festival.
