45th anniversary of "Bashkortostan - India" Friendship Society was celebrated in Ufa

The 70th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of India and the 45th anniversary of the Bashkortostan-India Friendship Society were celebrated in Ufa. The colorful festival dedicated to two dates was held at the Ahmet Zaki Validi National Library.

According to the "All Ufa" TV channel, the collection of books about Indian culture was solemnly transferred to the library. During the event, exhibitions of works by Ufa artists were organized. Ethnic Indian tunes were performed by creative groups. The audience enjoyed the rousing music and energetic dances, bright costumes.

India is an old and reliable partner of Bashkortostan. The two republics are linked by close economic and cultural contacts. In recent years, the Indo-Bashkir cooperation has been further developed due to the mutual social initiative of the peoples of India and Bashkortostan.
