Ildar Abdrazakov is nominated for the 2019 International Opera Awards of the Opera Magazine readers. The singer posted this information on his social media.

Among the nominees, there is also a well-known to Ufa townspeople conductor Maxim Emelyanychev, who is nominated in the category “Best Newcomer,” the orchestra of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater MusicAeterna, which toured in Ufa.

The International Opera Awards was created in 2012 by English businessman and opera fan Harry Hyman and editor of Opera Magazine and music critic for The Sunday Telegraph John Ellison, who now heads the award jury.
