"Culture" channel will show "My Love - Russia!" program about Bashkir kurai

On January 24, “Russia Culture” TV channel will show a release of the project "My Love - Russia!" dedicated to Bashkortostan. The show is called “Reedy Tune for Kurai” (kurai is a folk musical instrument). The beginning is at 3.10 p.m.

The project of the “Russia K” TV channel tells about the life of multinational Russia and its regions. The presenter is a French publisher and traveler living in Moscow, Pierre Christian Brochet. For filming the program, he specifically came to Ufa in early December.

Guests of the program are the chairman of the Union of Kurai Players of Bashkortostan, Honored Worker of Culture RB Artur Gaisarov, People’s Artist of Bashkortostan Azat Aitkulov, Ilmir Kudabayev and the Yatagan Ethnic Group.

“Almost two years ago, we began to discuss with Pierre Brochet, the man enamored of Russia, a series of programs about Bashkir culture. And now - the first program of the cycle is available on the "Culture" channel. It is dedicated to kurai. We look forward to it!”, wrote the Minister of Culture RB Amina Shafikova on her page on the social media.

According to the minister, it will be a cycle of 4-5 programs devoted to the Bashkir people, the Sarmatian gold, the Bashkir epic and Bashkir music.
