Alfia Karimova gave solo concert for first time at Astana-Opera Theater

For the first time, a solo concert of the honored artist of Bashkortostan, the winner of international competitions Alfia Karimova was held in Astana (the Republic of Kazakhstan). The program was a result of six-year work of the singer in one of the youngest and most successful theaters of opera and ballet - "Astana Opera".

The concert also included a performance by a theater soloist, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sundet Baygozhin (baritone). One of the best accompanists Elena Sakhno (piano) accompanied to the singers. The participation of instrumentalists Alexey Kosyrev (flute), Lyubov Tkachenko (harp) added bright colors to vocal performances. The concert featured works by Bach, Gounod, Rossini, Saint-Saens, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Glier, and arias from Spanish zarzuelas.

National music - songs in the Bashkir, Kazakh, and Tatar languages was also presented to the audience. Thus, Alfia Karimova sang a cappella one of her favorite songs - the Bashkir folk song “Beyesh”.

Alfia Karimova is the leading soloist of Astana Opera, Honored Artist of Bashkortostan, winner of about 30 international and All-Russian competitions, winner of “The Opera Ball Award-2015”, jury member of international competitions, teacher, toured in Europe, Asia, America, and CIS countries. In 2013, Alfia Karimova performed with a large solo project in Ufa, on the stage of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater.
