Chief conductor of Bashkir Opera became member of Golden Mask jury

UFA, 11 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The conductor from Ufa, Artem Makarov, became a member of the Golden Mask jury in the “Musical Theater” nomination.

Artem Makarov is a chief conductor at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, music director of the International Opera Festival “Chaliapin Evenings in Ufa”, winner of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask”.

The jury is headed by the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, the Russian National Theater Award Golden Mask, the Highest Theater Prize of St. Petersburg Golden Soffit Larisa Gogolevskaya.

Recall that the Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet hit the long list of the award with two performances – the operas by N. Rimsky-Korsakov “The Tsar's Bride” and by J. Haydn “Lunar World”.
