Logo is designed for Folklore Festival 2020

The 6th World Folklore Festival, which will be held in Bashkortostan in 2020, will have its own logo.

In September 2018, the Republican Folk Art Center announced a contest to create a logo of the Folklore Festival. The other day the contest results were summed up. The winner was a designer Andrei Maslennikov (Aviskom LLC) from Ufa. The jury determined the work of the contestant corresponding to the stated topic.

Total, more than 70 applications were submitted from regions, cities of Bashkortostan, and regions of the Russian Federation. The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash prize, and all participants will receive letters of thanks.

“The main requirement for the participants of the contest was to create a unique and distinguished symbol reflecting the concept of the Folklore Festival” the press service of the Republican Folk Art Center reported. “All the received works were evaluated according to several criteria: the uniqueness and originality of the idea, simplicity, and conciseness, compositional and artistic unity, the integrity of the overall design solution.”
